Thanks to the ASPCA and Badrap, the 50 dogs confiscated from Vick will have a second chance at life.
Only ONE dog failed to pass the stringent temperament test. One. The others will have a chance at a long-lasting life!! They will either be adopted out or go to a sanctuary. I'm so happy, it's unbelievable.
When I was at Sac County, any pit bull confiscated for "dog fighting" was killed. It wasn't euthanasia, it was murder. These are often good, sound dogs who can go onto be awesome representatives of the breed. I hope this inspires other shelters to offer these dogs a second chance in appropriate homes. After all they've been through, they deserve it.
