Satya is perhaps one of my favorite publications - it promotes animal advocacy, social justice, envrionmentalism and vegetarianism.

In the August 2006 edition, the publication spent the entire magazine debunking various stereotypes associated with the aforementioned issues. Most of it had to do with busting vegan stereotypes, but there is a great article called: "Myth: Pit Bulls Are Vicious".

I know a lot of you would appreciate the article, so I am linking it. Also, if some of the articles resonate with your beliefs, PLEASE subscribe to Satya - it's a phenomenal publication that is written beautifully and from the heart.

My favorite quote from this article:

First of all, after the hurricane, 62 percent of all animals rescued were pit bulls. Nobody was bitten, mauled or run down by any of these dogs. There is a sense that pit bulls are inherently evil dogs—making careful plans to attack and kill people—which just isn’t the case at all. I’m not saying that none of them have problems, but most of their problems are created by people who have abused them or trained them to be violent.
