In other news, the legislative process is a slow one! The nonprofit I work for is introducing a bill along with the HSUS. I have been calling and e-mailing organizations to try and get support - the AR groups are easy-peasy, but it is the other groups we need support from. We at least have an author for our bill, but we still haven't been assigned a committee. And when we do, guess who gets to testify at the hearing? Yes, me. Oh joy.
