I reside in the great (both in size and awesomeness) state of California with my genius pit bull Mina and my idiot savante muttskie, Celeste. Read about the adventures of Mina and Celeste, the dynamic canine duo of doom, as they romp and wreak havoc upon the earth in the Mina and Celeste chronicles! It can safely be said, I love my dogs.

Yep, that's right - I'm vegan. I eat many, many, many food items...with only a few exceptions! I don't eat animals, drink their breast milk or eat their eggs because I don't need them to survive.

If you are curious about veganism, learn more at Vegan Society or Vegan Action .

If you think the sheep is cute (and awesome, because he is), check out the sanctuary I work for, Animal Place . We're located in Vacaville, California. The sheep is Aiden and he pretty much rules.

Mina is a 9-yr-old pit bull rescued from certain death at a county shelter. She is 38-lbs of terrier-crazy love-joy. For sure. I oppose breed specific legislation and support efforts at stopping breed bans and restrictions. My dog has every right to a happy, loving life as any dog. If you are curious about pit bulls, check out BadRap. Or enjoy one of my blogs For the Pit Bulls .

Celeste is Mina's younger, adopted sister. She is often referred to as Mina's stoner sidekick. Celeste is from Mexico. In June of 2007, I went down to Mexico with a group called Compassion without Borders for a life-changing, weeklong spay camp. While there, Celeste came in...all 10-lbs of her! She was malnourished, covered in ticks, flea-ridden, and suffering from a tick-borne (curable) disease. On top of that, she was being dragged and kicked by her "owners". I agreed to "foster" her back in the states, and yet she still remains. This is because she is evil. Just kidding. :)
